CometMarks

You need to have your own account to use CometMarks. When you finish the installtaion of CometMarks. You will be directed to the setup wizard to create your account and start using CometMarks.

You can sign in with your Comet passport if you have one, or click “Create account” if you haven't registered for Comet passport before.

Log into your CometMarks account after registration and click “Next”.

CometMarks in successfully installed in your computer. Click “Finish” to exit the setting wizard and start experiencing CometMarks.

“Wait, I need to backup my bookmarks and upload them into my email before reinstall my operating system.”

Now kiss goodbye these words since you now have CometMarks. CometMarks automatically saves your bookmarks and all changes you made.

And that's how you restore your bookmarks:

1. Visit www.cometmarks.com;
2. Install CometMarks on your computer;
3. Start CometMarks and login your Comet Passport;
4. Now check your bookmark collections now.

If you are using different computers or different browsers on one computer, CometMarks will seamlessly synchronize your bookmark collection and keep the consistency; all you need to do is following these steps:

1. Install CometMarks on all your browsers or computers;
2. Launch CometMarks and login on one computer. All changes you make on your bookmarks will be automatically saved and uploaded to our server.
3. Do as Step 2 when you are using another computer, then you will find your bookmarks become the same as your first computer.
4. It's suggested that you launch CometMarks automatically when start window so that CometMarks will automatically synchronize your bookmarks.

As you have installed CometMarks on your own computers, you can visit our site to view, edit or organise your own bookmarks.

1. Visit www.cometmarks.com
2. Click My CometMarks on the top right of the navigation bar and login your own Comet Passport.
3. You are viewing your own bookmarks.

If you didn't set CometMarks to start with Windows, you will have to start CometMarks manually. Please note that the only shortcut to CometMarks is in the Start menu, but you can create other shortcuts as you like.

CometMarks also have a notepad for you to make some real-time notes. Double-click the CometMarks icon in the notification area, a small note window will pop-up, and CometMarks automatically saves the last change you made on the notepad.

There are two ways to change your CometMarks settings.

• Click CometMarks icon in the notification area and then click “Settings”, then login to change the settings.

• Change settings in the welcome page

If you start CometMarks Manually as mentioned above, you will be redirected to the welcome page, it allows you to change your settings or get online help.

If you want to stop CometMarks temporarily, go to “Settings” to clear your username and password then click “OK”. CometMarks will be inactive until the next time you log in.

Right-click CometMarks' icon in the notification area and select “Manage Bookmarks”, then you will be redirect to “My CometMarks” website to organise your bookmarks online.

For the first time you login, CometMarks will ask you to select the merger mode.

If you want to inactivate CometMarks temporarily, double-click the icon at the right bottom of your browser, delete your username and password in the setting panel, then click “OK”. CometMarks will be inactive until the next time you log in.
